The list below outlines a range of state based water grants which are available to golf clubs across the country.

QUEENSLAND
Link to the Queensland Governments Grants webpage. The objective of the Irrigators Rebate Scheme is to provide eligible irrigators with a rebate for the payment of the fixed water charges (or part fixed water charges)from 1 July 2006 to 30 June 2008 and 1 July 2008 to 30 June 2009 in areas where there is, or has been, low water availability.

The objective of the Major Facilities Program is to develop and enhance sport and active recreation infrastructure to meet community participation needs; support local, regional and state levels of competition; and enable Queensland to attract and host key events.

Sport and Recreation Disaster Assistance Program
Link to the Queensland Governments Grants webpage. The objective of the Sport and Recreation Disaster Assistance Program is to provide one-off funding to assist organisations within affected areas to re-establish sport and recreation services to support local participation.

Stormwater & Urban Water Recycling Fund
Link to Victorian Govenment's Our Water, Out Future website. The objective of the Stormwater & Urban Water Recycling Fund is to
reduce demand on drinking water (for uses other than drinking)
support the use of water that is fit-for-purpose while protecting public health and the environment
significantly improve the integrated management of water resources.
Link to Victorian Govenment's Smart Water Fund website. The objective the Smart Water Fund is to seek project submissions for innovative sustainable water use projects that focus on the areas of water conservation, water recycling and / or biosolids management.
Drought Relief for Community Sport and Recreation Program
Link to Victorian Govenment's Grant's website. The objective the Drought Releif for Community Sport and Recreation Program is to provide grants to help local communities maintain local community sport and develop sustainable approaches to water management of sports grounds and other sport and recreation facilities.
Councils can apply for funding of projects designed to keep sport and recreation facilities open or for projects providing long term, sustainable reductions in potable water use by community sporting facilities.

Link to the WA Government's Department of Water website. The objective of the Farm Water Rebate Scheme is to encourage commercial farmers in dryland agricultural areas (areas receiving less than 600mm average annual rainfall) to implement on-farm water supply improvements in order to address identified areas of water deficiency, better manage existing water supplies and reduce water wastage. The FWRS provides rebates for selected on-farm water supply improvements to develop and install reliable on-farm water supplies for domestic, crop spray and livestock use.
